Studio Policy
To ensure a safe, respectful, and smooth experience for all clients, please take a moment to review the following policies:

Working Hours
Appointments are available Thursday to Monday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (AEST). Messages received outside of these hours will be responded to during business hours.​​
​
Health + Hygiene
Clients must arrive clean and with good hygiene. If you are unwell or experiencing any cold/flu symptoms, please get in contact to reschedule your session.​
​
Booking + Payment
All appointments must be booked in advance, and payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your session.

Cancellation Policy
Please provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full appointment fee.

​Refund Policy
No refunds will be issued once a session has been completed. Pre-paid bookings are only refundable if cancelled with appropriate notice.
​Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session will still finish at the scheduled time to avoid overlapping with the next appointment. Full payment is still required.

Arrival Time
Please do not arrive earlier than 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time, as I may still be with another client or preparing the space.

No Guests Policy
You may not bring anyone with you to your appointment as there is no waiting area available, and no one will be permitted to stay during your session.​

Female Clients Only
This practice is female only, bookings from male clients will not be accepted.
​
Makeup-Free Face
Please arrive with a makeup-free face as facial massage or the use of face/eye masks may be part of your session.​

Services Offered
Please note that my treatments are focused around relexation and energy focused bodywork. I do not offer: Sports, Pregnancy, Buccal, Remedial, Happy Ending or Injury Focused Massage.

Prenatal Massage
I do not offer prenatal massage at any stage of pregnancy. If you are pregnant, it is essential to seek a therapist who is specifically trained in prenatal massage as it requires specialized knowledge to ensure the safety of both you & your baby.

Equiptment + Safety Limitations
My current massage table has a maximum weight limit of 200kgs. For safety reasons, I am unable to accomodate bodies above this limit as I am not specialised or equipped to provide the proper support. Thank you for your understanding.

Professional Boundaries
This is a strictly professional massage service. I will not tolerate inappropriate behaviour, comments, or advances. Any inappropriate behaviour will result in the immediate termination of the session and a permanent ban from future bookings.

While I deeply value emotional honesty and the trust you place in me, this is not a space for intense trauma sharing. As your massage therapist, I am not a licensed mental health professional, and cannot ethically or energetically process trauma in session.

Do you offer remedial massage?
I specialise in Swedish Masage which takes a more relaxing approach to considering your individal, physical & mental needs. I of course can apply firm pressure and relieve pain however I do not offer remedial or sports massage.
Do you take health insurance?
Unfortunately as I have not completed the diploma in remedial massage (only Cert IV) I am ineligible to offer the health rebate.
Do you offer pregnancy massage?
Unfortunately no, as I am not trained in prenatal massage I would never want to put you or your baby at risk. Due to the increased health risks during pregnancy only a specialty trained therapist can provide this service.
Are you female only?
Yes, I specialise in women's wellness and cater to anyone who identifies as female. Non binary & LGBTQ+ people are also welcome!
Can I bring a friend?
No, I am unable to cater to more than 1 person at a time. As I work in a shared wellness space adding multiple people can disrupt the safety and flow of your session.
Is there parking?
Yes there is plenty of free street parking available on both Annie & James street. Mystic Moon is located in a residential area with a 2hr time limit for parking.
What if I haven't received my gift certificate?
Please double check the correct email address has been entered. At times these certificates can fall into your junk or spam folder, please double check here first. If you have any futher issues please don't hesitate to get in contact.
What if I'm not feeling well?
If you are feeling unwell please aim to provide me with as much notice as possible as we will need to reschedule your appointment. Please do not attend your appointment if you are feeling unwell or experiencing any flu like symptoms.
Can I wear makeup?
I strongly encourage you to not wear make up to your appointment. As you will be lying on your face your makeup will be smeared and also stain the white linen. Especially if we are massaging the face or applying a face mask, makeup will need to be removed.
When will I get my appointment reminder?
A confirmation email will automatically be sent upon booking. You will receive a reminder text 24hrs before your scheduled appointment time, followed by a reminder email sent 2 hours prior to your appontment, which will include important information for your session.
